Description

1950's Pie Traynor Single Signed Baseball. The first third baseman selected for Hall of Fame induction by the BBWAA, and the only man to steal home in an All-Star Game, Traynor served seventeen world-class seasons in the uniform of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Here we find a spectacular example of his autograph, applied to the sweet spot of an ONL (Giles) ball above stamping which makes note of Traynor's Hall of Fame credentials and may also indicate that the signing took place at Cooperstown. Signature rates 9/10, establishing this as one of the finest Traynor singles known. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
