Description

1950's Pie Traynor Single Signed Baseball. The first third baseman selected for Hall of Fame induction by the BBWAA, and the only man to steal home in an All-Star Game, Traynor served seventeen world-class seasons in the uniform of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Here we find a spectacular example of his autograph, sealed to 10/10 perfection beneath a thin coating of shellac on this "Official League" ball. Some scattered spots of toning are evident on adjacent panels, but our catalog imagery should properly indicate that the signature area remains clear of such intrusions. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
