Description

1950's Pie Traynor Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM+ 7.5. The first third baseman selected for Hall of Fame induction by the BBWAA, and the only man to steal home in an All-Star Game, Traynor served seventeen world-class seasons in the uniform of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Here we find a spectacular example of his autograph, applied to the sweet spot of a "Clark Bar Big League" baseball with a "To John, with best regards" salutation. The experts at PSA/DNA have assigned a grade of 8/10 to the autograph and 7/10 to the ball for the combined score as noted. Full grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM+ 7.5. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
