1950's Mickey Mantle & Casey Stengel Multi-Signed Baseball. Mickey Mantle was Casey Stengel's prized pupil. It tore the Old Perfessor apart to have to send down the upstart in 1951 after he slumped during the beginning stages of his Hall of Fame career. But have no fear, Mantle resurfaced later in the season and began to slug home runs with regularity. We searched through the auction archives and have found a scant few Stengel/Mantle signed baseballs. This OAL (Harridge) ball was signed by Mantle and Stengel. Mantle takes residence on the sweet spot while Stengel occupies an adjacent side panel. The ball has toned, but the signatures still register in at 8/10 and provide one lucky Yankee fan the opportunity to get an elusive pairing of pinstriped heroes. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
