    Description

1950 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The second year in a five-season World Championship run, this is the pinstriped crew that conquered Philadelphia's Whiz Kids in the Fall Classic. DiMaggio leads the cast of twenty-four from his standard sweet spot position, with other notables including: Berra, Ostrowski, Collins, Raschi, Page, (2) Coleman, Ferrick, Reynolds, Silvera, Lopat, Sanford, Stengel (clubhouse), Bauer, Ford, Mapes, DiMaggio, Henrich, Byrne, Woodling, Houk, Crosetti, Dickey and one more. A layer of shellac is applied to the toned baseball. The signatures average 7/10 to 8/10. We linked the ball to '50 because the only common year for Page and Ferrick. PSA and JSA list the Stengel as clubhouse. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
