    1950 Enos Slaughter Inscribed "1,600th Hit" Baseball from The Enos Slaughter Collection. This ONL (Frick) baseball was hit by Country to record his 1,600th Major League hit. The beautifully inscribed side panel tells the whole story: "Enos Slaughter's Trophy Ball. His 1,600th Hit Off Bickford ...July 22nd 1950." Slaughter finished his career with over 2,300 hits, a lifetime .300 batting average, ten All-Star selections, and four World Series championships. Letter of provenance from Slaughter family.
