    Description

1949 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.
UPDATE: Please note that this ball dates to 1950, not 1949.

The hiring of new manager Casey Stengel caused something of an uproar among fans and sportswriters faithful to the pinstriped cause, as the Ol' Perfesser's track record had been that of a consistent loser to date. Soon Casey was the toast of the town, however, as he skippered this squad to the first of five consecutive Bronx World Championships. Leading the charge was the great Joe DiMaggio, who appears on the sweet spot of this OAL (Harridge) ball as a clubhouse example. Among the twenty-two Yankees signing: Mize, Berra, Rizzuto, Martin, Reynolds, Bauer, Woodling, Houk, Henrich, Raschi and Coleman. Autographs average 7/10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
