1949 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The Yankees run of five World Series titles began in 1949 as Joe DiMaggio and his pinstriped band of brothers were the class of baseball. Although he was sidelined for the first 65 games of the season, Joltin' Joe recovered as evidenced by his .346 average. This OAL (Harridge) baseball is signed by twenty-six in ballpoint ink. Autographs average 6/10 to 7/10 with some lesser. A heavy top coating has been applied which has aged the ball. There is surface cracking throughout. Included are: Phillips, Henrich, Silvera, Marshall, Shea, Turner, Keller, Rizzuto, Brown, Reynolds, Bauer, Kryhoski, Page, Raschi, Mapes, Sanford, DiMaggio (reduced and first name missing), Stirnweiss, Byrne, Lopat, Coleman, Woodling, Billy Johnson, Niarhos, Berra and more. "To Ross Salinger" is neatly written across the sweet spot. "5" is written on one panel meaning this may have been signed for DiMaggio. Full LOA from SGC Authentic. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
