    Description

1949 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. The Dodgers dominated the National League during the 1940's decade as they claimed three pennants. While World Series success never seemed to ensue, the Dodgers were in the thick of postseason play. Signed by the 1949 NL champs is this stellar ONL (Frick) ball. Age induced toning is visible but the signatures still average 8/10 to 9/10. We can deduce the vintage because Mike McCormick's only year with the Dodgers was '49. Signatures include: Furillo, Miksis, Campanella, Erskine, Barney, Shotton (clubhouse), Sukeforth (clubhouse), Hermanski, McCormick, Hodges, Branca, Palica, Olmo, Hatten, Edwards, Snider, Whitman, Roe, Banta, Cox (clubhouse), Jorgensen, Reese, Minner, Newcombe (clubhouse), Robinson, Palica, Pitler (clubhouse) and others. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
