    Description

1948 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Sandwiched between world champion teams in 1947 and 1949, the 1948 New York Yankees found themselves finishing the season in third place. However, giving credit where credit is due, the squad's third place finish was only two and a half games off the pennant pace, with a fine record of 94-60. The offered team signed OAL (Harridge) baseball is a superb example of this season, with Joe DiMaggio front and center on the sweet spot. Also found here are signatures of Larry "Yogi" Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Tom Henrich, Tommy Byrne, Bill Johnson, Chuck Dressen (clubhouse according to PSA), John Lindell, Cliff Mapes, Ed Lopat, Hank Bauer, Bobby Brown, Charles Keller, Vic Raschi, Frank Shea and Bucky Harris, among others. Ball itself grades Near Mint+ with signatures in the 8-10/10 range. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
