    Description

1947-48 Babe Ruth & Jackie Robinson Signed Baseball. A most unusual and desirable pairing of two American icons on one baseball. One shattered records, the other broke barriers. We find Babe Ruth (3/10) on the sweet spot and Jackie Robinson (3/10) atop a side panel. Most of the other autographs, with the exception of Al Lopez and Marv Grissom, have since faded or remain undecipherable. The ball was probably either signed in 1947-48 or during the 1950's. The heavy wear indicates it was played with after the autographs were affixed. Despite its rough condition, the fact that the league stamp is no longer visible, and the condition of the signatures, this offering represents an opportunity to own a piece of history. Namely, the signatures of the two most important baseball players of all time on one baseball at an affordable price. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
