    Description

1946 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball with Honus Wagner.
This description has been updated. A letter from Preacher Roe will attend.

A dismal seventh place finish for the Bucs this season can do nothing to dampen the excitement any collector should feel when faced with a 9/10 signature from the man pictured on the hobby's most expensive card. "H. Wagner" signs in on this ONL (Frick) ball as a coach for the team he first represented in the final season of the nineteenth century. Among the twenty-four with him are fellow Hall of Famers Lopez, Frisch and Kiner, each of whom joins Wagner and the rest in the 8/10 to 9/10 quality range. The balance of the autographs is equally impressive. Surely one of the finest examples you'll find from this troubled yet talent-packed team. The ball originated from the collection of Preacher Roe. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. LOA from Preacher Roe.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
