    Description

1946-52 Harry S. Truman Single Signed Baseball. Another very tough Presidential single from the man who succeeded FDR upon his 1945 passing and popularized such household phrases as "The buck stops here," and "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Our thirty-third Commander in Chief signed the side panel of the presented OAL (Harridge) ball in 5/10 black ink. Ball exhibits moderate, even toning, while a light application of shellacking can be detected over the signature. Signed at a Senators opening day game between 1946 and 1952, it is one of the finest of its kind. Letter of provenance from the family of Washington Senators equipment manager Fred Baxter. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
