1945 World Series Umpires Multi-Signed Baseball. It would take seven games for the 1945 World Series to be decided. Detroit won the decisive contest by scoring six runs in the first two innings and taking any drama out of the contest. The series also gave us The Curse of the Billy Goat which would plague the Cubs for generations. This OAL (Harridge) baseball, in remarkable condition for its advanced age, was signed by the umpires during that October series. The following blessed this relic in 8/10 to 9/10 ink: Bill Summers, Jocko Conlan, Lou Jorda, Art Passarella, Charlie Berry and Lee Ballanfant. "World Series Umpires 1945" is written on the sweet spot. The stampings are deep and dark. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
