The Second World War caused a serious drain on the MLB talent pool but the Polo Grounds faithful were pleased to retain their slugging star Mel Ott, whose 8/10 black fountain pen autograph is counted among the twenty-one names on this shellacked ONL (Frick) sphere. Other notables include Medwick, Lombardi, Hausmann, Weintraub, Reyes, Kerr and Mancuso. Autograph quality average 7/10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
