1944 Connie Mack Multi-Signed 50th Anniversary Baseball. On August 4 of 1944, 29,000 baseball fans packed into Philadelphia's Shibe Park for "Connie Mack Night" to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the great The Tall Tactician's managerial career. Mack appears large and bold in 9/10 steel-tip black fountain pen on a side panel. The ball aged to a light gray hue, exhibits some wear and scuffs, and the league stamping is no longer visible. The re appear to be a few other signatures on the ball which have since faded and are no longer legible which allows this specimen to be displayed perfectly as a single. Also, one panel neatly inscribed "Commemorating Connie Mack's 50th Year of Major League...August 4, 1944." Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
