1943 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Even with the depletion of talent that the attack on Pearl Harbor brought to our national pastime, the mighty Yanks continued to assert its dominance as the Yankee Clipper sailed upon foreign seas. Team balls from the war years are particularly challenging, and this is the finest we've encountered. We particularly love the sweet spot artistry of Hall of Fame manager Joe McCarthy, who adds a "Yanks 1943" notation beneath his 8.5/10 black fountain pen autograph. Other notables among the twenty-nine signatures include Dickey, Gordon, Combs, Turner, Chandler, Crosetti, Byrne, Murphy, Breuer and Donald. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
