Description

1940's Clark Griffith Signed Baseball. A star pitcher during his youth, Griffith would develop into a successful manager and team owner after hanging up his spikes, giving his name to the Senators' home ballpark. His large black ink signature rates an 8/10 on this OAL (Harridge) ball once housing a selection of other autographs, but now home to Griffith alone. The ball exhibits scattered foxing and handling wear, each remaining clear of Griffith's signature. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
