Description
1940's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball, PSA NM 7. An enormous and marvelously bold blue fountain pen sweet spot signature on an OAL (Harridge) ball makes this a dream piece for legions of baseball autograph collectors. While its true that the coating of shellac that covers the Bambino's autograph has yellowed over the passing decades, we must give it the lion's share of credit for maintaining the fantastic strength of the autograph. The graders at PSA, notoriously tough with their standards, applied a subgrade of 8/10 for the signature, though we'll refer you to our catalog imagery and see if you agree with our contention that the score is very conservative.
