1940's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM+ 7.5. While the superstar slugger's famous and unfailing generosity of spirit ensured that his is the most available of all pre-war sporting legends, the tremendous demand for his essential autograph has nonetheless powered a sustained upward trajectory in auction results throughout the years. Historically, the Babe's signature has been the hobby's safest bet. It has been commonly and properly stated that every great sports memorabilia collection begins with the Babe Ruth single signed baseball.Presented is a glorious incarnation thereof, pairing a marvelously bold sweet spot autograph with its most coveted medium--an OAL (Harridge) baseball. These two components have been assessed at 8/10 and 7/10 quality respectively by the stern graders at PSA/DNA, establishing the composite grade as listed. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM+ 7.5.
