Description
1940 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball with Honus Wagner. While their on-field product resulted in barely a winning season, the 1940 Pirates had an influx of star talent. Honus Wagner served as a hitting instructor while the team included Hall of Famers Frankie Frisch and the Waner brothers. A heavy top coating has been applied to this ball to protect the signatures - average from 4/10 to 8/10. Most are on the lower end of the scale. Wagner (4/10) assumes the sweet spot while the others include: Lanning, Arky Vaughan (light), Klinger, Frisch (first name light), Flowers, Bauers, Brubaker, Berres, Brown, Lloyd Waner (material loss on first name), Brown and more.
