1939 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball with Gehrig.
Though the Bronx Bombers were the last team standing for a fourth consecutive October in 1939, this Centennial season is best remembered for the brave and heartbreaking farewell of the Iron Horse. The vast majority of Yankees team balls from the season find Gehrig in secretarial format, but his remarkable example bucks that unfortunate trend, supplying the genuine article among the twenty-seven entrants.

The Iron Horse is joined on the sweet spot with teammates George Selkirk and Wes Ferrell. Gehrig's autograph rates 7/10. Autographs run the gamut and range from 5/10 to 8/10. The only common year for Gehrig and Oral Hildebrand is '39. Others who signed include: Rolfe, Dickey (4/10), Jorgens, Henrich, Rosar, Crosetti, Murphy, Powell, Haley, Pearson, Hadley, Sundra, Gordon, Knickerbocker, Dahlgren, Ruffing (8/10) and three more. Deemed clubhouse: DiMaggio, McCarthy, Gomez, Keller. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
