1939 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A highly coveted team orb due to its historical significance, the desirable 1939 New York Yankees baseball comes before us here. Widely known as the final year that Lou Gehrig was with the Bronx Bombers, collectors clamor for the opportunity to catch the Iron Horse and other Yankee legends together for the last time. As was customary for that '39 season, the Gehrig signature on the OAL (Harridge) ball we see here is secretarial, but that does little to detract from the attractiveness of the other autographs here, which include: Chas Ruffing, Red Rolfe, Joe DiMaggio, Frank Crosetti, Charlie Keller, Bump Hadley, Earle Combs, Joe Gordon and more.
