1939 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball with Gehrig. Rookie outfielder Joe Gallagher played just one season in the Bronx, that of the Baseball Centennial, assuring that this important sphere is accurately identified in the vintage notation reading, "New York Yankees 1939." Most collectors are aware that, while Gehrig continued to travel with the Yankees after his heartbreaking "Luckiest Man" farewell, team balls from the season almost always bear a clubhouse version of his autograph. Here is a rare exception to that trend. A genuine Iron Horse is joined by ten teammates including DiMaggio, Dickey, Gomez, Ruffing, Pearson, Keller, Crosetti and more. Gehrig is 9/10, and the balance never dips further than two points below. An unknown signature or notation has been removed from the sweet spot. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
