    1938 Boston Bees Team Signed Baseball. After spending three years in Brooklyn, Casey Stengel landed in Boston in 1938 coaching the Bees. This was the first time a Stengel managed team reached the break even point at the end of the season. This ONL (Frick) baseball is signed by the entire team (24) in ballpoint ink. "May 10 1938" in ballpoint ink most likely when the ball was signed. Many of the pennings are 4/10 to 5/10 and have reduced through the years. Twenty-four autographs include: Hutchinson, West, Stengel, George Kelly, Mayo, Buddy Reis, English, Riddle, MacFayden, Moore, Vince DiMaggio, Fletcher, Warstler, Cooney, Weir and more.
