    Description

1937 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. This vintage keepsake immortalizes the Yankees' championship squad of 1937 in spectacular fashion. Signed by two dozen Bronx Bombers, this OAL (Harridge) baseball includes Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig (sweet spot, 6/10), Bill Dickey, Tony Lazzeri, Red Ruffing, and Red Rolfe (blemish). Others of note include Crosetti, Selkirk, Hadley, Hoag, Jorgens, Murphy, and Kemp Wicker. Gomez and Henrich are deemed secretarial.

A light coat of shellac was carefully applied to preserve the autographs which has caused the ball to age to a wonderful light brown color. "New York Yankees 1937" appears in vintage ink over the league stamping which is still very bold. The steel-tip fountain pen signatures grade a strong 6.5/10 overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
