Description

1936 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A kid named DiMaggio arrived on the scene this season, but the big draw on the presented sphere is the sweet spot inscription and signature from the club's Hall of Fame first baseman, reading, "To Joe Fitzpatrick, Best Wishes, Lou Gehrig." Fourteen other signatures join the Iron Horse, with two panels (including Brown, Chapman, Hadley and Pearson) rating 5/10 to 8/10, and the balance of eight (including DiMaggio, Lazzeri and Gomez) exhibiting considerable surface wear limiting strength to 2/10 to 4/10. Worth the price of admission for Gehrig alone. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
