1935 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. With the Babe limping to the finish of his playing career in Boston, and Joe DiMaggio still dominating the Pacific Coast League, the Iron Horse enjoyed a brief starring role in 1935, claiming the sweet spot of the provided "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" ball in 7/10 black fountain pen ink. Twenty-four signatures join him, averaging 2/10 and including Lazzeri, Combs, Dickey and a secretarial Fletcher and McCarthy. Several autographs are too faint to discern. The relatively bold sweet spot Gehrig is the real draw here. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
