Description

1935 Chicago Cubs Team Signed Baseball. Since before the First World War, only a single Cubs team has posted triple-digits in the win column for a season, and here we present an ONL (Heydler) ball celebrating that historic National League Championship club. Though Heydler's National League presidency ended in 1934, we're certain this ball dates from the subsequent season due to the presence of Larry French and Fred Lindstrom, who were traded to Chicago from the Pirates in November of 1934. Thirteen other autographs join these new Wrigley arrivals, notably Klein, Herman, Grimm, Root, Warneke, Hack and Demaree. Autograph quality finds an impressive average of 8+/10, providing quality of ink to match that of the team. A warm vintage patina further serves the visual cause. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
