The legendary slugger takes his honorary sweet spot position in 7/10 black fountain pen ink, joined by twenty-two teammates including Gehrig (7/10), Dickey (8/10), Lazzeri (6/10), Ruffing (6/10), Combs (8/10), Gomez (3/10) and more. That's six Hall of Famers! Most of the balance exists in the 3/10 to 7/10 range with a couple on either side. Hoag deemed secretarial. An unknown hand dates the signing to "8-18-34," the day of a thrilling twelfth-inning walk-off victory over the St. Louis Browns in the Bronx. A solid memento from the end of an era.
