Description

1934 Dizzy Dean & Paul Dean Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA 5.5. One of the best Dean brothers baseballs we have encountered for a few reasons. The ONL (Heydler) sphere is a one-year style, from 1934 when the Gas House Gang bested the Detroit Tigers in seven-game World Series. St. Louis' two best pitchers were the Dean brothers. In his greatest season, Dizzy led the N.L. in wins (thirty), winning percentage (.811) and K's (195), while posting a 2.66 ERA and claiming the league MVP award. In The Fall Classic, he posted a 2-1 mark with an anemic 1.73 ERA. Brother Paul, meanwhile, went 19-11 in the regular season and 2-0 in the World Series with a 1.00 ERA. The brothers Dean won all four World Series games between them!

Diz signs on the panel above the league stamping, while Paul signs on the panel to the left of the league stamping. The experts at PSA/DNA graded Dizzy a 7/10, Paul a 6/10 and the ball a 4/10 for an overall grade of 5.5/10. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, 5.5. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
