Description

1934 Chicago Cubs Team Signed Baseball. Tremendous Hall of Fame talent makes this ONL (Heydler) ball a winner even if the club itself could only muster a third place showing this season. Twenty-five black fountain pen autographs include Cuyler, Hartnett, Herman and the tough Chuck Klein, whose early death in 1958, twenty-two years before his Hall of Fame induction, makes him a challenge for collectors. Among the balance of autographs are Grimm, Galan, Warneke and Charlie Root, two years removed from his surrendering of the Babe's "Called Shot" in the 1932 Series. Autograph quality averages a fairly consistent 8/10, with only a single, lesser name causing any amount of eye strain. A jewel from the dugout at Wrigley. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
