1934-39 Babe Ruth, Tony Lazzeri & Joe DiMaggio Signed Baseball. Nothing but pinstriped royalty appears upon this OAL (Harridge) ball, a magnificent specimen which likely began life as a single signed baseball autographed during Babe Ruth's final season in the Bronx, and was then enhanced with the heroes of Manhattan's Little Italy. Just as a solo Ruth, this sphere would soar well into five-figure territory, his black fountain pen ink projecting from the sweet spot with 7/10 boldness. We find Joltin' Joe to the left of Ruth's unmistakable autograph and Poosh 'Em Up Tony" to the right, each rating within a point of the Babe.While a small population of signed baseballs containing these three immortal Yanks are known to exist in the collecting hobby, we cannot recall ever seeing another featuring just this specific trio, so those collectors seeking material to set themselves apart from the pack are sure to pay close attention. The ball itself, which supplies the date range in our title by its specific stamping format, exhibits only a few small areas of toning that does little to distract from the impressive aesthetics.
