    Description

1932 Washington Senators Team Signed Baseball. Led by "Big Train" Walter Johnson as manager from 1929 to 1932, the Washington Senators finished high in the wins column, but could only muster second or third place finishes against teams like the Yankees. The offered OAL (Barnard) baseball likely dates from the 1932 season, during which Johnson's managerial career intersected with fellow HOFer Heinie Manush's Senators days. The ball has a heavy top coating applied, and the signatures span from 3/10 to 6/10. Thankfully Johnson's signature rates 6/10. We counted thirteen signatures but more are visible. The others are lost to time and exposure. Signatures include: Altrock, Schacht, West, Manush (4/10 with trailing off of last name), Harris, Meyer (traced per PSA/DNA), Bluege, Weaver, Cronin (6/10), Maple, Weaver and more. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
