Description

1932 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The final World Championship season for the Ruth-era Yanks, who benefited from his controversial "Called Shot" at Wrigley Field in that season's Fall Classic. The Babe takes his standard sweet spot position upon this OAL (Harridge) ball autographed by twenty-five Bronx Bombers, most notably Gehrig, Lazzeri, Ruffing, Dickey, Combs, Gomez, Pennock, Sewell, Brown, Lary, Pipgras and McCarthy (secretarial). Signature quality survives at an exceptional 8/10 to 9/10 average, aided in part by an expertly applied coating of vintage shellac. With nine authentic Hall of Fame autographs, World Championship vintage and world class aesthetics, this one should get paddles flying when the bidding begins. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
