Description

1932 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The final World Championship season for the Babe, who would punctuate the occasion with his famous "Called Shot" in the third game of the 1932 World Series. He takes appropriate sweet spot honors on this "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" sphere, its red and blue stitching effectively mimicking the period OAL baseball fashion. All of the legends that made for the most dominant dynasty in baseball history are present, including Gehrig, Gomez (twice), Lazzeri, Sewell, Pennock, Combs, Dickey, Ruffing, Crosetti, Pipgras, Lary and many more. Twenty-four signatures are here in total, every last one of them readily legible and averaging 7/10 in strength. Certainly one of the finest examples we've seen of this essential Yankees team ball. Original box, in fantastic condition, is included. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
