    Description

1932 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball - World Championship Season! The Babe earned the seventh and final World Championship of his career this season, placing a cherry on top of the World Series victory over the Chicago Cubs with the legend of his "Called Shot." Fittingly, Ruth (5/10) appears on the sweet spot of this OAL (Harridge) orb documenting the last great Murderers Row club, joined by fellow legends Gehrig (5/10), Lazzeri (3/10), Gomez (5/10), Sewell (4/10), Ruffing (4/10), Pennock (3/10) and more. Twenty-four signatures are here in total, with all listed Hall of Famers remaining legible. The ball was clearly used a fair amount subsequent to its signing, and the autographs have suffered significantly as a result, with the average quality somewhere around 3/10. Nonetheless, it is an opportunity for a smart shopper to bring a very desirable team ball packed with legendary pinstripers into his collection at a price well below what a stronger specimen would command. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
