Description

1932 Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & Tony Lazzeri Signed Baseball. The red Heydler presidential stamping on the side panel of this ONL sphere allows us to definitively establish the vintage of 1932, suggesting a strong possibility that the ball was signed during the Yanks' visit to Wrigley where Babe Ruth would smack his historic "Called Shot" in that season's Fall Classic. The personnel couldn't be better, with the Bambino (6/10) on the sweet spot and fellow Hall of Famers Gehrig and Lazzeri (each 4/10) on the side panel below. It is possible that a couple other signatures once appeared upon the ball, but only the faintest remnants remain if they did. A light coating of shellac has created an attractive vintage tone.
