Description

1932 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball. Note the faint remnants of the red John Heydler presidential stamping on the side panel of this Official National League ball? That's a single-year style, issued only during the year 1932. And we can think of only one occasion that would have brought this pair face to face with an NL ball, and that's the World Series at Wrigley, where the Babe taught the taunting Cubs a lesson with his famed Called Shot. Historical suppositions aside, however, there's still much to love about this fine specimen. The Babe's sweet spot signature, and Lou's offering to the west, each present at a strong 7/10, and the black and red stitched sphere provides a marvelous vintage patina of evenly toned horsehide. A special keepsake from the era of the Babe's most celebrated moment. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
