1932-33 Roger Peckinpaugh Single Signed Baseball. Roger Peckinpaugh's career was a rollercoaster ride. In 1925 he edged out Al Simmons for the American League Most Valuable Player award - then known as the League Award. Despite his success during the regular season, Peckinpaugh had a rather dreadful World Series which he committed eight errors in the seven game series. A leg injury eventually ended his playing career and Peckinpaugh become baseball's youngest skipper at the tender age of 23. His record still stands to this day.

Despite the fact that he lived to be 86 years old, there are a scant few singles from the 1924 World Series champion. This OAL (Harridge) baseball dates to Peckinpaugh's run with the Washington Senators. The elusive signature is placed across the sweet spot of this toned ball in steel tip black fountain pen. The autograph rates 6/10 as a result of exposure. Easily, one of the toughest single signed baseballs in this expansive auction. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
