Description
A spectacular representation of the hobby's key building block
1930's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM 7. While the superstar slugger's famous and unfailing generosity of spirit ensured that his is the most available of all pre-war sporting legends, the tremendous demand for his essential autograph has nonetheless powered a sustained upward trajectory in auction results throughout the years. Historically, the Babe's signature has been the hobby's safest bet. It has been commonly and properly stated that every great sports memorabilia collection begins with the Babe Ruth single signed baseball.Presented is one of the finest examples Heritage has had the good fortune to present to the collecting community, a specimen boasting an 8/10 autograph subgrade that arguably projects even better than that lofty assessment. The 6/10 subgrade for the baseball itself, the very desirable "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" format, accounts for the final NM 7 scoring.
The ball is hermetically sealed in the PSA/DNA grading cube and accompanied by a full grading letter of authenticity attesting to the spectacular condition of this key collectible. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM 7. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
