1929 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball. Leaving even Ruth, Gehrig and the rest of the mighty Yanks in the dust this season, the monumentally talented Mack Men took the American League flag with eighteen games to spare, and then closed out the season in a four games to one butchery of the Chicago Cubs. Twenty signatures on this non-official ball include some of the game's greatest figures, notably Foxx, Cochrane, Grove, Simmons, Collins and more.
