1929 Brooklyn Robins Team Signed Baseball. Though a sixth place finish in the National League was nothing to celebrate for the baseball-mad residents of Flatbush, this ONL (Heydler) sphere memorializing the team is a different story entirely. For whatever reason, pre-war Brooklyn balls are particularly tough, and this is a fine specimen, boasting nineteen bold black fountain pen signatures from this early Ebbets squad. Notables include Hall of Famers Bancroft and Vance, who share a side panel for ideal display. Signature quality averages 8/10 and a small mounting hole on the opposite sweet spot is mentioned for accuracy, causing little distraction. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.Auction Info
