1928 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball with Ruth, Gehrig & Huggins, PSA/DNA NM 7. While the previous season's model is considered the absolute finest of the franchise's twenty-seven World Championship editions to date, this row was no less murderous than its older sibling. Yet again, Ruth and Gehrig paced the American League in long ball artistry, with the season concluding in a merciless four-game Fall Classic sweep. While just nine signatures adorn this non-official sphere, the fan who collected them had a clear eye for talent, as two-thirds of them would ultimately find immortality at Cooperstown: Ruth, Gehrig, Huggins, Pennock, Lazzeri and Durocher. Rounding out the cast is Pipgras, Dugan and Meusel. The experts at PSA/DNA are notoriously tough graders, so their assignment of a 7/10 for the autographs and a 6/10 for the baseball itself (with a half-point "bump" for visual appeal) is high praise indeed.
