1928 New York Yankees & Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball with Ruth & Gehrig. Every baseball tells a story and the one on offer here was written eighty-nine years ago, just before the twenties changed from roaring to depressed. It was a time when Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig were the greatest baseball players in the world, playing for the greatest baseball team in the world. The Yankees won the World Series again in 1928, dispatching the Cardinals in a clean, four-game sweep. Ruth hit .625 with three home runs and Gehrig hit .545 with four home runs.

OAL (Barnard) baseball with blue/red stitching contains five legible signatures,
including New York's Babe Ruth (sweet spot, 6/10) and Lou Gehrig (side panel, directly above the Barnard stamp, 6/10), and the Boston's Bill Carrigan (manager), Doug Taitt and Charlie Berry. While the ball has browned over the decades, and the other signatures have since faded, the two most important - Ruth and Gehrig - are still easily discernable and display proudly. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
