    Description

1928 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball - Scribed During Historic Barnstorming Tour. In one of the most legendary barnstorming tours in history, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig visited towns and cities without Major League ball clubs in order to give deprived fans the magical opportunity to watch the legendary giants.

Presented here is a special sphere that was signed by the two icons during October 23, 1928 of the tour. Signed on the side panel in 6/10 quality ink by Gehrig, and 7+/10 ink by the Babe, the unofficial ball exhibits moderate scuffing and toning throughout. In addition, it is dated in an unknown hand. Also, the "NY" is in that same unknown hand, as well as a couple of names "Rob" and "Robert" that were not signed by Ruth or Gehrig. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
