Description
1928-31 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. The OAL (Barnard) stamping on this baseball provides the date range of our lot title, and the Bambino supplies the appeal. His black fountain pen side panel signature rates about 5/10, but we must note that PSA/DNA has determined that the signature is partially traced. Beckett's included LOA does not make this determination. The only other visible signature on the ball is Hank Johnson, who wore pinstripes from 1925 to 1932 (minus the 1927 season). He's 1/10. The Beckett letter states that other handwriting on the ball cannot be discerned. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.Auction Info
