    Description

1927 Philadelphia Athletics Team Signed Baseball with Ty Cobb Inscription.
Single-season OAL (Johnson) stamping style assures the listed vintage, a season that saw the Georgia Peach end his twenty-two-year association with the Detroit Tigers for the first of two seasons as a Mack Man. Nineteen signatures appear on the ball's moderately-toned hide, beginning with Cobb's inscription, "To Paul Jr. From Uncle Ty." Also appearing are fellow future Hall of Famers Al Simmons, Frank Frisch, Zack Wheat, former 1919 Black Sox manager Kid Gleason, Max Bishop, Eddie Rommel, Jimmy Dykes and more. Autographs average 4/10. Light shellac. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
