    Description

1927 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Babe Ruth (3/10) graces the sweet spot, with teammates Bob Meusel, George Pipgras, and Mike Gazella on the side panels of this ONL (Heydler) ball which was in all likelihood signed during the 1927 World Series as the N.L. stamp suggests. Inscribed "N.Y. Yankees 1927." While the ball was shellacked and has since browned, and the majority of the signatures have since faded (with the exception of the four aforementioned), this ancient sphere is still relevant for the very fact that it is signed by the greatest player and greatest team in major league history. The ball once hung in an office as part of a display with other baseballs and is still fitted with the metal staple and string which was originally affixed to secure it to the display. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
