"Killer" offering from Murderer's Row makes up in historic personnel what it lacks in condition, providing the opportunity for one smart collector to own the most coveted team sphere of all without a murderous price tag. An authentic sweet spot Ruth kicks off the festivities, rating a perfectly respectable 6/10. Present at a strength of 4/10 or better are fellow Hall of Famers Lazzeri, Pennock, Huggins and Combs. Gehrig fails to meet that mark, having lost all but the final "hrig" to surface wear, and Waite Hoyt is likewise quite worn. Sixteen signatures are identifiable in total, with owner Jake Ruppert, Bengough, Koenig, Dugan, Collins, Ruether, Thomas, Meusel and Shawkey rounding out the roster.
